I trawled the internet looking for a suitable kennels before our last holiday and had nearly got to the point of cancelling it when I chanced upon the 'Canine Country Club'. It appeared to be just what I was looking for - but when I contacted Jackie Ferrier my heart sank because she said the building work wasn't finished. However, she volunteered to have Alice, our elderly border collie, in the house with her own animals. We visited her and I could see that she not only loves dogs, she knows dogs and cares most passionately for them. She showed me round the half built Canine Country Club and explained what they are doing: it looks fantastic! You can read all about it on the website
Alice was duly installed with the Ferriers a few weeks later and when I picked her up after the holiday, she was happy and relaxed and had obviously bonded with Jackie; in fact she'd been thoroughly spoilt! It's a long drive from Plymouth to Bude but one I would do again........and again to know that my dog is happy and well cared for.
Dogs staying in the Canine Country Club are not only going to be well looked after, entertained, exercised and not 'banged up' in kennels - but most importantly, I'm sure they will all be loved. I wish Jackie and Tim Ferrier every success in their venture. May Alice be the first of hundreds to enjoy their hospitality!

Dear Tim & Jackie,
Thank you so much for taking such good care of our beloved Jessie whilst we were away.
She was obviously so happy with you and it was lovely to see that she had bonded with you both so well. We will be back now everytime we go away, because we know that she has such a great time at the Canine Country Club.
We feel that we are very lucky to have somewhere so special for Jessie as before we found you we had not had a holiday since she came to live with us 5 years ago.

Just a note to say thank you so much for looking after Dylan. It meant such alot to us to know that Dylan was in save hands.

We just wanted to say thank you for looking after Welly so wonderfully. We
had one very tired but happy boy after his stay with you. We thought the
whole ethos of the CCC was just perfect and we are so glad we found you. We
wish you the very best of luck although we have to say we don't think you
will need it! Anticipating that the next time we would like Welly to stay
with you it will be like Eton, his name will have to go on the list far in
advance!
He is currently lying on his back displaying his man parts and snoring his
head off!, a true pedigree!
